About Us

The Surrey Hills is a place of outstanding beauty and a source of wonder and awe. From Frensham Ponds to Leith Hill, from Box Hill to Newlands Corner, the breath-taking views never fail to inspire me. Closest to my heart, as well as closest to my home, is The Devil’s Punchbowl, a place where I spend so much of my time. You will often find me walking through the trails with my dog as we re-tread our favourite routes, or, taking some time out with friends for a good old catch up in the fresh air. It’s like nature’s own therapy!

There are many great walks through the punchbowl from a quick jaunt from the car park to the beautiful views from Gibbet Hill with the legendary tales of the lone sailor, highway men and the gibbet cross, through to longer routes through the punchbowl itself where you are likely to come across some of the beautiful highland cows and the wild ponies that roam the land.
